The Spectacular Septima by Poul Henningsen | EN.KLASSIK.DK - EST. 1991
The Septima Pendant was developed in 1927-31 and was first time exhibited at Kunstindustrimuseet (now Designmuseum Danmark) in September 1928 in a prototype version. Here it received several positive reviews in the press, although PH did not see the lamp as finished yet. Read the whole story here.

At 3daysofdesign, Casa Shop, KLASSIK, MILLION and Klassik Studio, have joined forces to convert Casa Shop's iconic store in central Copenhagen into a design exhibition exploring what happens when different styles, new designs and vintage meets. The exhibition want to show that it's possible through those meeting to achieve something completely new in interior design.

Born in Denmark of Danish and Brazilian ancestry, Anine Bing, founder of the self-titled clothing line, grew up among Scandinavian furniture classics. Classics, which has followed her throughout her career in places like Sweden, England, Belgium, Germany and South Africa. Today, Bing is based in Los Angeles with her husband and two children, who might be a little influenced by Bing's Scandinavian background.
